This high quality oil has DOP status. It is produced from Etna Nocellara olives with strict rules dictating the origin of the are strictly sourced from Etna territories, subject to and controlled by Agroqualità SpA - a body recognised by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies in Sicily - from the growing and harvesting of the olives, up to packaging in numbered bottles or cans.
The oil has an opalescent with intense green hues. Aromas are medium fruity with a sense of freshly cut grass. To taste, it has bitterness balanced with spiciness and a tomato aftertaste;
An excellent choice as a dipping oil, on fresh salads and as a seasoning for legumes and roasts.
Comes in a beautifully designed tin.
