Oliorama is a third generation family producer of extra virgin olive oil and organic extra virgin olive oil. Their delicious oils are produced from their prestigious olive groves fifteen minutes away from Ancient Olympia, a province of Ilia state. This is a unique place where the Olympic Games first took place, a place where the sun shines most of the year and a place where the soil is rich, fertile and productive.
The microclimate in Olympia produces a perfect environment for many different varieties of olive trees. These conditions have been a constant through the centuries and the result is very low acidity levels in the extra virgin olive oils produced
Oliorama extra virgin olive oils are produced from two varieties Koroneiki and Korileiki (Kollyreiki). The oils have PGI Olympia status (Protected Geographical Indication) which means its quality and reputation is linked to the region. The characteristics of the climate and the soil of the area all contribute to the organoleptic characteristics of olive.
The methods and techniques used at Oliorama to produce the oils are designed to respect the environment. The fruit is collected at the ideal stage in order to ensure the highest level of quality. The production takes place at a mill that meets all the quality and hygiene standards (ISO 14000, ISO 22000, HACCP) and the extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively by cold extraction.
