Aceites Nobleza del Sur is an olive oil producer steeped in centuries of tradition with passion and excellence ingrained in their philosopy. Back in 1640, Miguel Sánchez Sagra, who is a direct ancestor of the current family owners, establishes the family business by acquiring an olive plantation in Los Añadios-Jaén (Andalucía). 12 generations later, the Peñuelas-Sagra family continues working and taking care of this same olive grove, maintaining passionate olive oil production.

The company has recently developed their own mil. This has all contributed to further improving the quality of their oils – best farming practices, beautifully cared-for trees in the groves and a state-of-the art mill all contribute to an end result which gourmet quality oils.

The Aceites Nobleza del Sur groves cover an area of more than 300 hectares in various locations in the Jaen province in Andalucía. Each extra virgin they produce is made from olives in different olive groves with characteristics rooted in the differing soils, a unique continental Mediterranean microclimate and fertile lands close to Guadalimar river. These all contribute to giving the oils their personality, character and fruity profile. Organic farming is also an important part of their setup and this is shown in the superb “Eco” range of organic oils.

The quality of the Nobleza range has been recognised with a wide range of prizes and recognition in the latest editions of the Flos Olei guide.
